The theme of the International Women’s Day celebration of 2015 is “Empowering Women – Empowering Humanity: Picture It!” (by #UN) and “Re-thinking Women’s Empowerment and Gender Equality in 2015 and beyond” by #UNESCO . It calls on people from around the world to realize women’s rights (including freedom of expression and religion).
